<aside> 📌 Daelus aims to be the universe’s resource provider, and we’re going to do that using autonomous swarm robots. We’re going to accomplish that through autonomous robots: In space, cooperative autonomy is not an option - it’s a necessity. We envision that space colonies and outposts enable a dynamic pool of resources that can be accessed and distributed in a just-in-time manner. Just as cities are defined by its transportation and resource pools, the backbone of the space economy will be resources that can be extracted and transported autonomously and efficiently at scale (ISRU). Our robots will define how resources are accessed and transported in the extraterrestrial Space economy. Before we go to space, we’ll leave our impact on Earth through decentralizing robotics: instead of expensive, single point of failure robots that have to be custom designed, we’ll complete the same tasks using common, inexpensive rover platforms connected via a mesh network - so that even if some fail, the task can still be completed. In this regard, we can sell both the rover as well as the software stack that enables swarm for existing robotic platforms.
